Situation
This rapidly growing company was experiencing turnaround time issues from their tooling suppliers. Satisfying new customer orders required a significant reduction in tooling lead-times.

Very complex Tooling [0001.] delivered within 4 weeks of order placement.

Response
After meeting with the customer's Engineering and Production team leaders PTD developed an aggressive plan the customer felt would work. Tooling package quotes were expedited and tooling production methods were modified to take time out of the process.

The customer's continued ability to satisfy growing demand uninhibited by delivery pressures.
